Precision Grinder

Position Overview:

We have been in business for 60 years and are one of the top Precision Grinding companies in the country. We are looking for top notch people to set-up and operate CNC and manual centerless grinding machines. We do exciting work on a variety of parts for the semiconductor, medical, aerospace, etc. industries.

While we are willing to train, this isn’t an entry level position or for people who simply need a job. We are looking for someone who is committed to their field and has a reputation for producing quality workmanship. While there are many different personalities that fit in here, we all share common traits.

CNC Machinist

This is the opportunity to be an integral part of a strong team of CNC machinist. Arrow Grinding has been in business 66 years and we’ve doing CNC machining for a majority of it. Who knew? If you watched the video, you have a taste of what we are about.

The role is that of a senior level machinist that we can confidently hand off work assignments to from start to finish. Maintaining a clean, organized work area is of paramount importance to be successful. This is a growth position with an excellent future that will include additional responsibilities.

The work is fascinating and the machines you’re working on are in top shape. Most machines in our CNC machining area are new within the past 5 years. We have recently installed a new large 5 axis machining center. We are also currently in the process of AS9100 registration.

The ideal candidate will have a calm steady demeanor and be a team player. We value a strong work ethic, a can-do attitude. You must take pride in your work.

This is a long-term position for the right candidate that will advance your career and solidify your position with our team. We pay well above industry average and have unmatched benefits.

We are hiring an experienced CNC machinist with the following qualifications:

A minimum of 5 years of CNC job shop machining experience
Qualified on Turning and Milling equipment
Knows G code
Capable of accurate machine set ups
Able to set up and use inspection equipment for complete work piece validation
Well versed in work holding techniques
Superior blueprint reading abilities
Skilled in the use of geometry and trigonometry for machining calculations
Doosan machine tool experience is a plus
